(That sticks directly into the child's Book of Mormon.)

Stamp on the hand.

Put a pom pom in the Reading Jar.

When the Reading Jar is full we PARTY during Sharing Time.

The kids get to use marking pencils...FUN FUN FUN!

GOAL:

Memorize The 13 Articles of Faith

INCENTIVE:

Piece of Candy for memorizing each Article of Faith.

A scripture "We Believe" keychain when all 13 Articles of Faith are memorized.

General Primary Presidency 2016 Theme Comments

The General Primary Presidency has given GREAT counsel about this year's theme,
I KNOW THE SCRIPTURES ARE TRUE.

Sister Durham added, “Their minds are open and ready to learn. They can memorize these scriptures and have them in their hearts so they can recall and use them later.”

Even helping children internalize one little phrase of scripture could bless them during those times of strife, Sister Wixom added. “If it’s tucked in their heart and in their mind, it will surface.”

“We know the power of the scriptures and how they will have a lifelong influence on a child’s life,” said Sister Rosemary M. Wixom, Primary general president.
